An average of 57 people have successfully found employment daily through the AI matching system, and Minister of Employment and Labor Kim Young-hoon stated that AI acts as an assistant, connecting individual capabilities to optimal opportunities. MOEL has expanded its employment support services, using AI technology to find suitable jobs for individuals. As of the end of 2025, the number of users for the AI job matching service increased by 66% compared to the previous year, and the number of people who were hired through job postings recommended by AI also rose by 61% year-on-year.
According to the performance data of the AI employment services released by MOEL, by age group, young and middle-aged individuals aged 20 to 40 preferred AI-powered resume consulting, while older individuals aged 50 and above primarily utilized career planning services tailored to their life stages.
Starting in the first half of this year, MOEL will introduce a responsive vocational aptitude test, reducing the time required from approximately one hour to around 10-20 minutes. The ministry also plans to establish an AI recruitment platform for businesses.
