Actor Lee Sang-bo Found Dead at Pyeongtaek Home

Actor Lee Sang-bo was found dead at his home in Pyeongtaek City on the 26th. Currently, Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Police Station does not suspect foul play and is investigating the exact cause of death.

Lee Sang-bo was arrested by police in 2022 on suspicion of drug use, but was cleared of charges following examination by the National Forensic Service. The medication he had taken at the time was confirmed to be for depression treatment, not a narcotic.

Lee Sang-bo had previously revealed his family history of losing his older sister in 1998, his father in 2010, and his mother in 2019, and disclosed his history of taking antidepressants. He explained that he had been taking medication for treatment due to the grief of losing his family members consecutively.

Lee Sang-bo, who appeared in the drama 'Elegant Empire,' had signed an exclusive contract with Korea Management Group (KMG) last year and continued his activities.

The late actor's wake has been set up in Room 3 at Pyeongtaek Central Funeral Hall, with the funeral procession scheduled for 10:30 AM on the 29th.
