Nonghyup Extends Tax-Exempt Fuel Subsidy for Farmers Through End of Month
To alleviate the burden on farming households struggling with soaring international oil prices, Nonghyup announced on the 12th that it will extend the government subsidy period for tax-exempt fuel used in agriculture until the 30th of this month. This extension targets farmers and agricultural corporations who purchase tax-exempt fuel at Nonghyup gas stations nationwide, covering diesel, kerosene, and gasoline.
Tax-exempt fuel for fisheries and forestry, heavy oil, LPG, by-product fuels No. 1 and 2, and lubricants are excluded from the support. A total of 25 billion won in subsidies will be disbursed retroactively based on actual purchase volumes.
In addition, Nonghyup is expanding its 'Refueling Cashback Promotion,' currently available only at Nonghyup gas stations, to all gas stations nationwide. Until May 31st, customers who pay 30,000 won or more with an NH Nonghyup Card will receive a 50 won cashback per liter. The promotion offers benefits up to a maximum of 10,000 won for the entire period, with a monthly limit of 5,000 won. Customers using NH Nonghyup Card's 'Olleun OIL Card' can receive an additional discount of up to 150 won per liter at Nonghyup or GS Caltex gas stations.
