People Power Party Discusses Key ROK-US Issues During US Visit
A People Power Party delegation departed for the United States on April 14, 2026, to discuss key issues between South Korea and the US. The visit was organized to demonstrate the party's strengths in diplomacy and security ahead of the upcoming local elections.
Following the departure of People Power Party leader Jang Dong-hyeok and Supreme Council member Kim Min-su for Washington D.C. on April 11, 2026, a delegation including lawmakers Kim Dae-sik, Jo Jeong-hun, and Kim Jang-gyeom headed to the US on April 14, 2026.
The delegation will meet with key U.S. government and congressional officials to reaffirm the alliance and request cooperation on pressing issues, such as the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
