KB Data System and Microsoft Korea have launched the second phase of 'Youth AI Project:D' aimed at nurturing AI talent among young individuals. The program is organized by the Mapo Youth Culture Center and involves KB Data System's corporate social responsibility AI community, 'KB ITogether', and Microsoft Korea.

The program features a mentoring structure that connects current IT professionals, university student mentors, and high school students. It is designed to offer high schoolers opportunities for career exploration and university students practical experience.

The curriculum includes foundational AI learning based on Microsoft Azure OpenAI, prompt engineering, and AI agent development.

Building on its experience from operating the first phase for high school students last year and conducting pilot education for middle school students, KB Data System is expanding the initiative in its second phase to encompass education, mentoring, and community contribution. Park Chan-yong, CEO of KB Data System, stated that the autonomous participation of the company's internal AI study groups and employee volunteer corps serves as the driving force behind the program's operation.

Lee Jeong-in, Vice President at Microsoft Korea, emphasized that AI education is a foundation for the growth of future generations and pledged continued support for an educational environment aligned with Responsible AI principles.
