A-sung Daiso Surpasses 4 Trillion Won in Annual Revenue for the First Time
A-sung Daiso, a fixed-price household goods store, has recorded its highest-ever performance by exceeding 4 trillion won in annual revenue for the first time in 2025, as thrifty spending increased amid an era of high prices. This demonstrates a strengthening trend among consumers to seek essential household items at reasonable prices.
According to the audit report disclosed by A-sung Daiso, its 2025 sales revenue rose 14.3% year-on-year to 4.5363 trillion won, and operating profit increased 19.2% to 442.4 billion won. A-sung Daiso attributed this growth to the expansion of strategic product lines including cosmetics, fashion, and health supplements, as well as the popularity of seasonal items such as "Cool Summer" and Christmas collections.
A-sung Daiso, which opened its first store in Cheonho-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, in 1997, has expanded its operations to over 1,600 stores as of 2025. An A-sung Daiso representative stated that in 2026, the company will focus on strengthening its store and logistics systems to stably supply cost-effective products based on customer-centric management, and will continue its business focused on the core value of selling fixed-price household goods.
