Snap to Lay Off 1,000 Employees in AI-Driven Restructuring

Snap, the parent company of Snapchat, announced it will lay off approximately 1,000 employees as part of a reorganization aimed at more actively integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technology into its operations. This workforce reduction represents about 16% of Snap's total full-time staff.
