Gyeongju's Silla Heritage Reimagined as a Digital Garden

Gyeongju City has unveiled 'Rawon,' a new space that reinterprets Silla's heritage by combining it with the latest digital technology.

This complex cultural space, spanning approximately 70,000 square meters, is a fusion of light, media, and nature, offering rich visitor participation and experiential content beyond mere exhibition. 'Rawon' presents a variety of content utilizing cutting-edge technology, such as the 'Gallery of Light,' which recreates Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, where precious plants of the Silla era were cultivated, with an AI's sensibility, and implements masterpieces into AI media art, providing an experience that blurs the lines between reality and imagination.

Combining Silla legends with a digital garden, 'Rawon' is rapidly establishing itself as a new tourist attraction in Gyeongju, drawing over 7,000 visitors in just three days since its opening.
