Seoul's autonomous districts are introducing services that leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance citizens' lives across the board.

Dongjak District will officially launch 'Dongjak CALL Bus,' a demand-responsive transit (DRT) service where AI calculates optimal routes upon passenger requests, starting this May. Unlike fixed routes, this service aims to improve accessibility.

Seocho District's Umyeon Library has seen over 30,000 visitors in just three months since opening its AI-based 'My Own Immersive Library,' a testament to its popularity.

Jungnang District has become the first autonomous district to introduce generative AI-based real-time translation. This feature provides foreign residents with instant guidance on public administrative information in their native language, expanding support beyond English, Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese to include Mongolian.

Gwanak District's 'Smart 100-Year-Old Pill Helper' project, an AI-based medication management service, analyzes the risks of polypharmacy for vulnerable groups like the elderly and offers customized medication guidance.

Yongsan District is operating an AI speaker care service for 100 single-person households. This system includes an emergency rescue function that automatically dispatches a 119 response when voice commands like 'Help me' are detected.
