President Lee Jae-myung Begins State Visit to Vietnam

President Lee Jae-myung arrived in Hanoi, Vietnam, on the 21st, concluding his 2-night, 3-day state visit to India, and has commenced his 3-night, 4-day state visit to Vietnam, which will continue until the 24th.

On the 22nd, the day after his arrival in Vietnam, President Lee attended a luncheon meeting with the Korean community residing there before laying a wreath at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Following this, he participated in official welcoming ceremonies and summit talks with Vietnamese leadership, an MOU exchange ceremony, a joint press conference, and a state banquet.

On the 23rd, President Lee is scheduled to hold separate meetings with Vietnam's second-highest-ranking official, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, and the third-highest-ranking official, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, and attend the 'Korea-Vietnam Business Forum' to discuss measures for expanding bilateral economic cooperation.
