Three family members were found dead in their home in Wilmer, Alabama, early on April 20, in what authorities are calling a horrific crime. The deceased were identified as Lisa Gail Fields, 46, her 17-year-old daughter Keziah Arionna Luker, who was 7 to 8 months pregnant, and her 12-year-old son Thomas Cordelle Jr. The victims were discovered in separate rooms, and all were found with their hands bound behind them, according to the investigation.

The victims sustained severe trauma, including stab wounds, decapitation, and gunshot wounds. Authorities noted that restraints such as zip ties or flex cuffs, believed to have been used in the crime, suggest a degree of planning, Sheriff Burch added.

The case came to light when another family member visited the home, concerned after being unable to contact the pregnant daughter, Luker. This family member discovered the three bodies inside the residence, all with their hands bound behind their backs. An 18-month-old infant was found unharmed at the scene.

Investigators are pursuing multiple suspects, believing that more than one individual was involved in the commission of the crime. The sheriff's office stated that leads are being actively pursued in the case. The decision on whether to pursue additional murder charges for the death of Luker's unborn child will be made by the Mobile County District Attorney's Office after suspects are apprehended.

In an interview with local media, the deceased Luker's father described the incident as an "unfathomable murder." He shared that his daughter had recently passed her GED (General Educational Development) test and recalled her as a bright, positive person who brought happiness to those around her. Luker's father expressed his profound grief over the tragedy, emphasizing how much his daughter loved her family.
