Hyundai Mobis Surpasses 15.5 Trillion Won in Q1 Revenue

Hyundai Mobis achieved significant results in the first quarter of this year, recording 15.5605 trillion won in revenue amidst geopolitical instability in the Middle East and a global decline in automotive demand. This represents a 5.5% increase compared to the same period last year. Operating profit also rose by 3.3% to reach 802.6 billion won.

In terms of qualitative performance, the company saw notable expansion in sales to non-captive customers, including global automakers in North America and Europe, along with a strong showing from its high-value electronic component business.

Hyundai Mobis is concentrating on securing future technologies and strengthening production capabilities, investing 2.1 trillion won in research and development (R&D) this year and establishing key electrification component hubs in Slovakia and Spain.
