Jung Won-oh Leads Oh Se-hoon in All Seoul Districts

A poll conducted ahead of the June 3 local elections shows Democratic Party candidate Jung Won-oh leading People Power Party candidate Oh Se-hoon in all districts of Seoul, drawing attention to the electoral landscape.

The survey was conducted to gauge the support levels between Jung Won-oh, the Democratic Party's candidate for Seoul Mayor, and Oh Se-hoon, the People Power Party's candidate. According to the results released by pollster Joowon C&I at the request of StraightNews, based on a survey of 802 adults aged 18 and over residing in Seoul from May 20-21, Jung Won-oh garnered 49.7% support, while Oh Se-hoon received 35.9%. The response rate was 6.3%, with a margin of error of ±3.5 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.

Jung Won-oh led Oh Se-hoon in all regions of Seoul. Notably, in Seoul's northeastern region, which includes Seongdong District, Jung had 54.2% compared to Oh's 32%, a difference of 22.2 percentage points. In the southeastern region, which includes the Gangnam 3 districts, Jung led by 7.4 percentage points (48.8% vs. 41.4%), a margin outside the ±3.5 percentage point error range.

By age group, Jung Won-oh showed his highest support among those in their 50s at 62.3%. Oh Se-hoon was the only candidate leading Jung in a specific age bracket, holding a 47.5% to 29.6% advantage among those aged 18-29.
