Man in his 20s arrested in Namyangju for stabbing teenager, charged with attempted murder

A man in his 20s, who was helping with business at an entertainment establishment in Namyangju, has been arrested by police on suspicion of stabbing a teenager he had never met before with a weapon. The incident occurred around 2:30 AM on the 23rd in the basement parking lot of a commercial building in Hwado-eup, Namyangju City.

Immediately after the crime, police arrested suspect A, a man in his 20s, at the scene. According to police investigation, suspect A got into an argument with B, a teenager he met for the first time while soliciting customers for the entertainment establishment on the street. It is understood that A then moved to the basement parking lot and stabbed B with a weapon.

B was reportedly taken to the hospital, underwent surgery, and is currently receiving treatment. Suspect A is under arrest and investigation for attempted murder.
