Choo Kyung-ho Proposes Formation of Daegu Economic Council to Kim Boo-kyum

Choo Kyung-ho, the People Power Party's candidate for Daegu Mayor, has proposed the formation of a 'Joint Council for Daegu Economic Development' to his rival, Kim Boo-kyum of the Democratic Party, calling for cross-party cooperation.

Choo diagnosed the Daegu economy as facing a structural crisis with a weakening industrial base. He stated that he would become a mayor deployable in real-world situations with proven economic leadership. He pledged to extend his successful experience in attracting businesses and creating jobs in Dalseong County to all of Daegu.

The People Power Party's nomination committee confirmed Choo Kyung-ho as the final candidate for Daegu Mayor in the upcoming June 3 local elections, reflecting the results of delegate votes and general public opinion polls.
