A data breach at marriage information company Duo has led to the exposure of 430,000 members' information, significantly increasing the risk of personal details and even financial asset data being compromised.

The hacking incident resulted in the theft of personal information such as names, phone numbers, physical characteristics, and marital history, alongside sensitive financial data including bank account balances, real estate ownership details, and income tax withholding records.

Duo issued an apology on its website, stating that technical measures have been implemented to prevent further leaks. However, members are expressing anxiety over the potential misuse of their financial information.
