Delivery App Baemin Enhances User Convenience for High Fuel Price Subsidy
Baedal Minjok has improved its app features to make it easier for users to utilize the government-provided high fuel price relief funds. Woowa Brothers announced that it has strengthened guidance on how to use the subsidies and made related functions more convenient.
The government provides 'High Fuel Price Damage Relief Funds' to alleviate the burden on small business owners facing high oil prices. These funds can be used at affiliated stores where the annual sales are 3 billion won or less, based on the business's address within the relevant local government.
Baedal Minjok has revamped its app interface to ensure consumers can intuitively understand how to use the subsidies and to facilitate actual orders. Dedicated icons and banners have been placed on the main screen, and clicking them allows users to view available stores for subsidy use and payment methods at a glance. With this revamp, the high fuel price damage relief funds can now be used at approximately 240,000 affiliated stores on the Baedal Minjok platform. Woowa Brothers has implemented the policy's objectives within the platform structure by providing advance guidance to restaurant owners through 'Baemin Restaurant Plaza' regarding subsidy application conditions, order types, and payment methods.
Kakao Pay has strengthened its merchant integration and user guidance functions to enhance the usability of online payments for local currency and various policy support funds.
