On April 27, 2026, a bus bombing in Colombia's southwestern Cauca region killed 20 people, one of more than two dozen attacks reported in the region over the past three days. The incident occurred on Saturday, April 26, 2026, when explosives were planted and detonated on a bus traveling along the Pan-American Highway in Cajibio, Cauca.

The Colombian government attributed the attack to the Ivan Mordisco and Jaime Martínez factions of the dissolved Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).

The explosion resulted in a total of 20 fatalities, including 15 women and 5 men. A total of 36 people were injured, with three in intensive care. Five minors among the injured are expected to recover.

The Colombian Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences has deployed dental, anthropology, and forensic specialists to identify the deceased. The governor of Cauca declared a three-day period of mourning in honor of the victims.
