President Lee Jae-myung's job performance approval rating has slightly decreased by 3.3 percentage points to 62.2% compared to the previous week. According to a survey conducted by pollster Realmeter from April 20-24 among 2,509 voters aged 18 and over nationwide, at the request of Energy Economics, President Lee's approval rating stood at 62.2%. This represents a 3.3 percentage point drop from the prior week. Negative assessments that he is 'doing poorly' rose by 3.4 percentage points to 33.4%, with 'don't know' at 4.4%.

In party support polls conducted during the same period, the Democratic Party of Korea saw a 0.8 percentage point increase to 51.3%, while the People Power Party dropped by 0.7 percentage points to 30.7%, widening the gap between the two parties to 20.6 percentage points. Realmeter attributed the Democratic Party's rise to strengthened solidarity following floor leader Chung Chung-rae's focus on public livelihood issues, and the People Power Party's decline to controversy over floor leader Jang Dong-hyuk's US visit achievements and nomination conflicts.

This survey was conducted using a 100% wireless automated response system. The margin of error for the presidential approval rating survey was ±2.0 percentage points at a 95% confidence level, and for the party support survey, it was ±3.1 percentage points.
