Daejeon Facilities Corporation, Special Education Center Boost Support for Students with Disabilities' Independence

The Daejeon Facilities Corporation's Rainbow Welfare Factory and the Daejeon Special Education Center are collaborating to develop 'field-oriented' vocational education programs designed to help local students with disabilities live independently after entering society.

The two institutions have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the goal of strengthening career exploration and vocational adaptation capabilities for students with disabilities, agreeing to promote specialized workplace experience programs utilizing public institution infrastructure.

This collaboration aims to provide experiential education that allows students with disabilities to perform job duties in real work environments, learn professional attitudes, and enhance their adaptability.

The Corporation and the Special Education Center plan to analyze the outcomes of their collaboration and expand its scope.
