Cheongju Health Center Administers Expired Vaccine to Infant

A 4-month-old baby received a vaccination with an expired dose at a health center in Cheongju. The vaccine was supposed to be used by March 30th but was administered on the morning of the 4th, the day of the incident.

While checking vaccine expiry dates is a mandatory procedure, it appears this crucial step was not followed in this case.

The health center has immediately disposed of two doses of the affected vaccine and notified the infant's guardians. So far, the baby has shown no adverse reactions.
