Korean and Japanese Business Leaders Meet in Tokyo to Discuss Cooperation Amid Summit
On March 19th, the day of the summit between South Korean and Japanese leaders, business representatives from both countries gathered in Tokyo to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.
During the meeting, Koo Ja-yeol, Chairman of the Korea International Trade Association, emphasized the concurrent progress of the summit and economic cooperation, noting that leaders were meeting while business leaders discussed collaboration.
The South Korean business delegation met with the Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry one day prior to the summit, on March 18th, conveying their determination to achieve economic cooperation results based on the friendly relations being pursued by the leaders of both nations.
