President Lee Jae-myung criticized the seizure of an aid flotilla carrying Korean citizens by Israeli forces as they approached Gaza on the 20th, stating, 'They are violating all minimal international norms.'

The President said, 'I am saying this because our citizens were taken,' and pointed out, 'While not following government policy is an internal issue, the seizure of our citizens for reasons not in line with international law is a clear wrong.'

A Blue House official explained that these remarks were made during the process of inquiring about the legality of the seizure and detention of the citizens aboard the ship.
