Daegu Mayoral Election: Kim Boo-kyum and Choo Kyung-ho Enter Policy Competition
With just 12 days remaining until the Daegu mayoral election, candidates Kim Boo-kyum of the Democratic Party and Choo Kyung-ho of the People Power Party have officially entered a policy-focused competition. The two candidates are set to begin discussions on pressing local issues ahead of their first televised debate.
In the first TV debate, scheduled for May 24, both candidates are expected to present solutions and debate key regional issues, with revitalization of the local economy and future urban planning anticipated as major topics.
As the election campaign period shortens, candidates are focusing on presenting their policy visions while also working to secure the support of local residents.
