President Lee: 'Capital Flow Will Decide the Future in This Era of Transformation'

President Lee Jae-myung, in a written congratulatory message sent to a conference hosted by Yonhap Infomax on October 22nd, stated, “We are standing at the heart of a great transformation,” adding, “In an era where uncertainty is rising due to the simultaneous reshaping of global supply chains, instability in energy and financial markets, and innovation in cutting-edge technology, the flow of capital is crucial for a great economic leap forward.”

The government announced plans to guide capital towards productive sectors such as advanced industries and regional economies, and to foster the capital market into an innovative platform with global competitiveness.

The President added that the government would invigorate the dynamism of the capital market, akin to the economy's bloodstream, while establishing a fair competitive order.
