Nowon District Leads Capital Region Apartment Sales Jan-May

From January 1 to May 19 this year, Seoul's Nowon District recorded the highest number of apartment transactions within the capital region (Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon). Over 100,000 apartment deals were made in the capital region during this period, with Seoul accounting for over 26,000 transactions alone.

Nowon District represented 12.3% of Seoul's apartment sales, totaling 3,215 units, placing it at the top. Gangseo District ranked second in Seoul with 6.9% of transactions, followed by Seongbuk District at 6.4% (3rd), Guro District at 6.1% (4th), and Songpa District at 5.4% (5th).

In Gyeonggi Province, Dongtan District in Hwaseong City led with 6.7% of transactions (4,219 units). Namyangju City came in second with 5.5%, followed by Giheung District in Yongin City also at 5.5% (3rd), Pyeongtaek City at 4.8% (4th), and Suji District in Yongin City at 4.1%.

Incheon saw a total of 11,726 apartment sales. Seo District accounted for the largest share at 23.6%, followed by Yeonsu District at 17.6%.
