Elderly Woman Dies in Hanam House Fire

An elderly woman in her 70s has died following a fire at a multi-family home in Mangwol-dong, Hanam, Gyeonggi Province.

The fire began around 10:45 PM last night (23rd) on the third floor of the building. The 70-year-old resident of the third floor was killed in the incident.

Fire authorities quickly extinguished the blaze, bringing the main flames under control. Three other residents from the same building were safely evacuated.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
