Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Joins Tsinghua University Advisory Board

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is joining the advisory board of Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management. Huang's name has been added to the advisory board, which includes global CEOs such as Apple CEO Tim Cook and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, along with business and academic leaders from the United States and China.

Huang's latest appointment is seen as a move to maintain connections with Chinese academia and businesses amid U.S. export controls that restrict the import of Nvidia's advanced chips into China.

In a recent interview with CNBC, Huang stated that U.S. export controls have effectively led Nvidia to cede the Chinese market to local competitors like Huawei. He also expressed his desire to return to the Chinese market, citing his 30 years of business experience and numerous customers and partners.
