People Power Party Ramps Up Final Rallies Day Before Election
With the nationwide local elections and National Assembly by-elections scheduled for tomorrow (June 3rd), key figures from the People Power Party have launched their final, all-out campaign rallies across the country.
Jang Dong-hyuk, Standing Election Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, greeted commuters at Guro Digital Complex Station in Seoul, delivered a public appeal from the party headquarters, and then visited Cheongyang, Gongju, and Dangjin in Chungnam province, as well as Hwaseong in Gyeonggi province, before holding his final rally in Cheonan, Chungnam.
Song Eon-seok, Co-Chairman of the Election Committee, released a statement at the National Assembly urging young voters in their 20s and 30s to participate, and then proceeded to the Daegu, Busan, and Gyeongnam regions to continue his support rallies. Song backed Daegu mayoral candidate Choo Kyung-ho at Dalseong Market in Daegu and candidate Park Min-sik in Gupo, Buk District, Busan. Afterwards, he helped Jinju mayoral candidate Han Kyung-ho with his campaign in Jinju, Gyeongnam, before moving to Changwon to join Gyeongnam gubernatorial candidate Park Wan-soo's final campaign schedule.
