Seoul Mayoral Exit Poll: Jung Won-oh Leads Oh Se-hoon 51.4% to 46%
According to the joint exit poll conducted by three major broadcasters (KBS, MBC, SBS) for the Seoul mayoral candidates in the June local elections, Jung Won-oh of the Democratic Party of Korea garnered 51.4% of the votes, ahead of Oh Se-hoon of the People Power Party, who received 46%.
This survey was conducted among voters who cast their ballots from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the election day at 615 polling stations nationwide.
The June 3 local elections saw a voter turnout of 61.0%, with 27,222,909 out of 44,649,908 eligible voters participating. This was the highest turnout since the first local elections in 1995. Seoul's voter turnout was recorded at 63.3%.
