Kim Jong Un Visits Nuclear Material Plant, Reaffirms Drive to Bolster Nuclear Might

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has reaffirmed his commitment to bolstering nuclear capabilities during a visit to a new nuclear material production facility, signaling the country's push to advance its nuclear prowess.

Kim Jong Un mentioned that under the guidance of the 8th Party Central Committee, the capacity for producing weapons-grade nuclear material has surpassed double the previous level over the past five years of strengthening nuclear power. He evaluated that decisions adopted at key plenary meetings are being accurately implemented.

The 9th Party Congress decided on a new five-year plan for strengthening nuclear capabilities to continuously enhance the nation's nuclear war deterrence, and adopted strategic decisions to further expand nuclear material production capacity and continue increasing the number of nuclear weapons.
