Seoul Mayoral Race: Oh Se-hoon Leads Jung Won-oh as Vote Count Hits 95%
As the vote count for the Seoul mayoral election in the June 3 local elections reached 95%, Oh Se-hoon of the People Power Party is leading Jung Won-oh of the Democratic Party by approximately 11,700 votes, with 48.8% of the vote.
Oh Se-hoon secured 48.8% of the vote, while Jung Won-oh garnered 48.5%, showing a difference of 11,727 votes.
In the nationwide 16 metropolitan mayor elections for the June 3 local elections, the Democratic Party confirmed victories in 12 seats, and the People Power Party secured 4 seats, primarily in the Yeongnam region. In the by-elections for National Assembly members, the Democratic Party confirmed 9 seats, the People Power Party secured 4 seats, and independents won 1 seat.
