LG CNS Launches Platform Leveraging AI Across Full Development Cycle

LG CNS announced on the 8th that it has launched 'DevOn Agentic AI Native Development (AIND)', a platform where artificial intelligence (AI) handles the entire IT development process in an end-to-end manner. The platform automates the full development cycle through the collaboration of specialized AI agents for each area, including analysis/design, coding, and testing/quality verification, based on user natural language requirements.

The core of the platform is a 'knowledge foundation' that structures corporate IT information for AI learning, enabling customized development optimized for the client environment and the incorporation of internal company regulations. The AI applies a 'specification-driven development' approach to ensure consistent quality and minimize errors according to predefined criteria. It also offers legacy system modernization capabilities, such as automatically converting old language systems like COBOL to Java.

This platform was jointly developed with AI coding company Cline. Both companies plan to expand its application scope to markets in the U.S., Japan, and Southeast Asia, focusing on industries where security and regulations are critical.
