Nonghyup Bank Vows to Build 'AI Full Banking' System to Handle All Financial Tasks

Nonghyup Bank has officially announced the establishment of an 'AI Full Banking' service that will handle all financial operations using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. The goal is to enable customers to resolve their entire financial life through AI consultants.

NH Nonghyup Bank CEO Kang Tae-young revealed this goal while presenting his vision for AI financial services at the 'NH Agentic AI Bank Vision Day' held at the bank's headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 9th. In a holographic vision speech, CEO Kang declared that AI is redefining the very existence of finance. He emphasized that the core of financial competitiveness lies in customer connection and execution capabilities, and set a target to understand customers' daily lives and expand employee potential through AI. He stated that the bank aims to make 'Agentic AI Bank,' which realizes customers' aspirations, a new standard for finance in South Korea.

In the future financial vision of 'Agentic AI Bank,' AI transcends a mere task automation tool. AI will play a crucial infrastructure role, understanding customer intent and supporting the execution of financial services. Nonghyup Bank is establishing a system where all employees can create and utilize AI agents themselves, based on the AI platform 'NHAIS.' Through this, an 'AI Full Banking' system will be established, where all financial tasks are realized by AI.

Nonghyup Bank has acquired AI technology firm AgileSoda and is fostering a future AI financial ecosystem by expanding its network of collaborators. As part of the 'Sovereign AI Ecosystem Expansion Project,' the bank is pursuing investment and financial support for AI data center construction projects.
