Seven OPEC+ Nations to Increase Oil Production
Seven countries belonging to OPEC+ have decided to increase oil production by 188,000 barrels per day in August. This marks the fifth consecutive month of such a decision and is significant news that could affect international oil prices.
According to OPEC data, production from three countries—Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Kuwait—decreased by 6 million barrels per day from the first quarter through May of this year.
Concerns have been raised about potential downward pressure on prices following the production increase, after countries replenished their crude oil inventories.
