North Korea Confirmed to Have Built 21 New Artillery Sites Near Armistice Line Targeting South
Analysis of satellite imagery by U.S.-based Radio Free Asia (RFA) confirmed on the 16th that North Korea constructed large-scale facilities presumed to be for operating multiple rocket launchers targeting the south in the area just south of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), adjacent to the Seoul metropolitan area, between 2023 and 2025.
An analysis of the satellite photos revealed that 21 buildings constructed within small North Korean military bases south of Kaesong City feature a drive-through structure allowing vehicles to enter from one side and exit from the other.
