Bill Gates to Visit South Korea Next Month to Discuss AI, Nuclear Power Cooperation

Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft (MS), is expected to visit South Korea as early as next month to discuss cooperation in future industries such as artificial intelligence (AI) and next-generation nuclear reactors.

Sources close to Chairman Gates have reportedly conveyed his interest in meeting with Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, and specific dates and agenda items are currently being coordinated.

Gates is the founder and chairman of the board of TerraPower, a company developing next-generation nuclear reactors, and is working on a small modular reactor (SMR) named 'Natrium' that combines a molten salt-based energy storage system.
