Ministry of Defense Denies Claims of Maintaining Current Military Academy System

On the 12th, during a meeting between the Minister of National Defense and the heads of the alumni associations of the Army, Navy, and Air Force academies, the explanations from both sides regarding the promotion of the academy integration policy were found to be directly contradictory in terms of facts.

This followed the Ministry's announcement last month on the 16th of a basic plan to merge the Army, Navy, and Air Force academies into a single four-year 'National Armed Forces Academy.'
