Used semiconductor equipment company Surplus Global has opened a store on WeChat, China's leading messenger platform. The company announced on the 20th that it had officially launched the 'Semimarket WeChat Mini Program Store,' enabling the trading of semiconductor equipment and parts within China. The WeChat Store is a mini-program service designed to allow Chinese customers to search for information on semiconductor equipment and parts and make inquiries directly within WeChat, without needing to access a separate website. It was established as part of the strategy to expand the Semimarket platform.

Surplus Global plans to participate in the 'China Semiconductor Materials, Parts, and Equipment Exhibition (CSEAC) 2026,' held in Wuxi, China, for three days from August 31 to September 2, where it will introduce its WeChat Store and Semimarket Partsmall.

Semimarket Partsmall serves as an offline sales hub where customers can verify actual inventory of used equipment and parts. By linking online and offline infrastructure, it supports client companies in efficiently procuring necessary products. Beyond selling equipment and parts, Partsmall is integrated with services such as equipment harvesting—recovering reusable parts from legacy (obsolete) equipment—parts repair, and data and logistics services. It is a one-stop supply chain service system supporting everything from search and transaction to repair and supply.
