Suwon Police Summon Man Dubbed 'Drug Zombie' for Questioning

Mr. A, a man in his 30s who faced public backlash in June after being labeled a 'drug zombie,' is undergoing police questioning to determine whether he actually used narcotics.

Mr. A was initially arrested on the spot after testing positive in a preliminary police drug test, but he was later released after testing negative in detailed forensic analysis. This sparked controversy regarding the cause of his bizarre behavior in the video. During police investigations in June, Mr. A initially stated, "I do not remember the situation," but later changed his statement, claiming, "I was stretching."

Earlier this month, police searched Mr. A's residence. Evidence of drug use was uncovered during the search and digital forensics of his mobile phone. The National Forensic Service (NFS) also confirmed positive reactions to narcotics in detailed hair analysis.

Police explained that the focus of this investigation is to uncover the specific details of the drug usage, based on the detailed forensic results from the NFS.
