The activities of 175 companies gathered in one place.

A comprehensive analysis of public data identified more than 200 corporate activity records, including procurement contracts, job postings, and crowdfunding projects. While each data set comes from a different source, reading them together reveals where small and medium-sized enterprises are focusing their survival strategies. As Mark Twain remarked that "truth is stranger than fiction," collecting scattered numbers brings into view patterns invisible in individual records alone.

Government Procurement: A Stable Foundation for SMEs

In the government procurement sector, numerous small, medium, and mid-sized companies secured new contracts. Names of environment, forestry, and landscaping firms stand out, including Daehun Environment, GnB Planning Co., Neulpoom E&C, and Daekyung Forest Development. Companies in design and surveying were also included, such as Hanil Comprehensive Architects, Hanbit Engineering Architects, and Geumgang Geospatial Information.

The fact that environment, forestry, and architectural design firms are broadly active in the procurement market shows that public infrastructure investment is a major source of demand for these industries. There are also cases of financial-sector companies participating in procurement, such as Kyobo Life Planet Insurance. The range of industries is wide as well, from safety-focused Innovation Safety Technology to defense-industry-related Jinwoo ATS. While public market revenues may not be large, contracts come with set terms, providing stable cash flow—serving as a stepping stone to growth that SMEs secure before bank loans or investment rounds.

Job Market: Demand Concentrated in Tech and Global Talent

Looking at job postings, demand for talent is converging on technical roles and candidates with global experience. Renew People simultaneously posted multiple openings, including an English-speaking global game master (GM), a team leader for overseas sales of PCBs for defense electronics, and an expatriate to oversee a production plant in Vietnam. Across the different fields of gaming, defense, and overseas production, the common requirement was global competence.

Technical roles are also prominent. Human Consulting Group sought a payroll systems developer handling year-end tax settlement modules, while JSI posted an opening for an automation control program developer. Laon Search recruited an environment, health and safety (SHE) professional at the associate level for an advanced chemicals group affiliate. Alongside these, hiring continued in service and content roles, including academy instructors, freelance trainers, and fashion video designers.

What stands out is the diversity of the employers. Hiring spanned industries from education and gaming to manufacturing, headhunting, and franchise fitness—meaning the labor market is moving evenly rather than tilting toward specific sectors. The recurring appearance of development and engineering roles across multiple postings is evidence that digital transformation demand is spreading across industries.

Crowdfunding: Consumer Validation Is Capital

In crowdfunding, food, practical goods, and AI tools formed the three pillars. In food, a project for giant peaches dubbed "King Peaches" led the pack, raising about 15.7 million won, while a charcuterie project also logged over 870,000 won. Notably, many were products debuting publicly on the Wadiz platform.

Among practical goods, an anti-theft travel sling bag raised about 2.92 million won and a Ten Head massager about 1.54 million won. A lineup of products solving small everyday problems appeared in succession, including cooling boxer briefs, silicone body shower pads, and portable fast chargers. Eye-catching were the AI content tools: Sukon's AI shorts production raised about 3.81 million won and an AI service-building tool for non-developers about 1.8 million won, while a short-form production tool also continued to draw backing.

Crowdfunding is not merely a fundraising channel. It is also a market validation process in which consumers cast a vote with their wallets at the prototype stage. The gap between projects that stop at the hundreds of thousands of won and those that surpass 15 million won can serve as an indicator of true demand. The strong showing of AI tools confirms that generative AI has penetrated beyond enterprise software into the market of individual creators.

Regulation, Risk, and Implications

The news is not all bright. Six Fair Trade Commission sanctions and numerous fraud-related issues were also tallied. The presence of some sanctioned companies shows that room for improvement remains in subcontracting practices and advertising disclosure. As public data exposes the reality of corporate activity, market participants can hardly ignore that contract performance and honest representation translate directly into credit.

In sum, the data from 175 companies point to three trends: the public procurement market is expanding its role as a stable source of demand, companies are investing proactively in technology and global talent, and crowdfunding has established itself as a capital-raising channel backed by consumer validation. A virtuous cycle is captured throughout the data—companies that win procurement contracts expand hiring, and validated products move on to crowdfunding.

As public data accumulation continues, real-time analysis of individual corporate health is expected to become possible. For companies, the next challenge appears to be adapting to an era in which transparently published records themselves become material for credit evaluation—an environment where data is one's business card.
