Civil Complaint Filed with Ulsan Police Requesting a Search and Seizure Raid Over Samsung Browser

A citizen filed a complaint stating that the CBC News website does not display properly in mobile view on Samsung Internet, the default browser on Samsung smartphones, and requested improvements to the website along with a response. The complaint was received at around 6:45 p.m. on September 28, 2026. The complainant also left a comment the same day urging Ulsan police to carry out a search and seizure (a procedure in which police search a location for evidence).

The complainant was found to have previously posted the same message at 9:20 p.m. on September 16, 2026. That tip contained only the phrase, "Ulsan police, please conduct a search and seizure!" This latest filing came 12 days later.

The intake list also includes a variety of other citizen reports alongside the browser display issue. These range from technology- or transaction-related damage to grievances over administrative processing, but the essence of this case is a demand for correction of a webpage display error. Among other reports on the same list, some have gone through the additional-documentation-request stage.

As the complaint was filed in a format requesting both improvement and a reply, it will go through the response procedure of the department in charge.
