The Rebuilding Korea Party unveiled a new impeachment motion against Chief Justice Cho Hee-de at the National Assembly on the 19th and urged the Democratic Party of Korea to immediately join forces. This is the second time the party has released an impeachment motion against Chief Justice Cho, following one in October last year. The party held an on-site supreme council meeting in front of the 'December 3 Martial Law Lift Memorial Seat' at the National Assembly that day, where it disclosed the draft motion with leader Shin Chang-sik and other party leadership in attendance.

Leader Shin Chang-sik said, "Some people worry about a political backlash. But what is blowing now is not a headwind but a tailwind. The only ones talking about a backlash are the People Power Party, remnants of the insurrection, and the 'Yoon Again' forces." He proposed, "It would be fine to form a joint TF, or to hold a joint general meeting of lawmakers."

Supreme Council member Hwang Hyun-sun pointed out, "The 'administrative backlash' and 'political burden' still mentioned by some in the Democratic Party are merely the same hesitation seen during the previous impeachment of Yoon Suk-yeol." She added, "Leaving judicial vested interests unpunished would become the real backlash, eroding the momentum for reform from within."
