President Lee Jae-myung is drawing attention to the direction of "My Heart" as he distances himself from hardliners regarding prosecution reform. In a post on his X account on the 16th, President Lee expressed a stance that effectively refutes the claims of hardliners within the Democratic Party, including Choo Mi-ae, concerning prosecution reform proposals. Citing the party-government consultation proposal rather than the government's original proposal, President Lee voiced his discomfort with certain hardliners attempting to mobilize public opinion under the label of the "government's proposal."

In the post, President Lee explicitly stated that the separation of investigative and prosecutorial powers and the exclusion of prosecutors from investigations are irreversible national tasks, and that the Prosecutor General must be designated as a superior position in the constitution. This is interpreted as prioritizing the stability of state governance by maintaining the essential task of separating investigation and prosecution while being cautious about formal requirements such as constitutional designation.

Choo Mi-ae posted on her Facebook on the 5th criticizing the prosecution reform bill, but on the 17th, she posted a message that appeared to withdraw her previous hardline stance, seemingly accepting the President's message.

The President's statement is evaluated as confirming the principle that the finalized proposal is the one that has undergone party-government coordination, by presenting the party-government consultation proposal as the basis and setting a standard for the hardliners' demands for reform amendments within the party.
