Stephen Miller Vows to Completely Block Refugee Inflow Amid Iran Conflict
Stephen Miller, the White House Deputy Assistant to the President for Policy, stated in an interview on March 18 (local time) that the Trump administration would not permit refugees to enter the United States amidst escalating military tensions with Iran.
He added that despite the intensifying Iran conflict, there would be no refugee influx into the U.S. through border closures and suspension of air transport, emphasizing this as a promise.
Miller explained that the southern border is currently closed, blocking illegal entries, and there will be no flights transporting refugees to the U.S. He made it clear that there would be no refugee transport measures under this administration.
