Small Business Owners Oppose Large Marts' Early Morning Delivery Push

Small business owners have rallied in front of the National Assembly, citing threats to the survival of businesses in local commercial districts and opposing moves to ease large marts' operating hour restrictions and permit early morning delivery.

Members of civic groups, including the Federation of Small and Medium Business Owners, held a rally on March 19, 2026, on the steps in front of the main building of the National Assembly, opposing the push for large marts' online and early morning delivery services.

Participants stated that the expansion of large marts' online delivery business threatens the survival rights of small business owners. They expressed their view that the push for large marts' online and early morning delivery services endangers the survival of small business owners.
