A former co-pilot, who meticulously planned his crime for three years by disguising himself as a delivery driver, will learn tonight whether he will be detained on charges of murdering a fellow airline captain. As the pre-arrest suspect interrogation for former co-pilot Kim, accused of killing an airline captain, is underway, his detention status will be decided on the night of the 20th.

It was revealed that Mr. Kim had targeted a total of four individuals, including the deceased victim, since three years ago, preparing for the crime by identifying their home addresses and daily routines. He was observed to have systematically waited for opportunities to commit the crime over a long period, such as disguising himself as a delivery driver to confirm their residency. In Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, his first crime scene, he employed elaborate methods, including posting a "broken" sign on an elevator and waiting on the stairs.

Regarding his motive, Kim stated it was "revenge for the actions of organized vested interests." During his appearance at the court, he also claimed, "I did what I had to do," and did not offer apologies to the victims' families.

Kim has been confirmed not to be a psychopath, and a decision on whether to publicly disclose his identity is expected early next week. The court will determine whether to issue an arrest warrant after reviewing Kim's alleged crimes and the risk of him fleeing.
