IDF Chief of Staff: "Halfway Point Reached in Operation Against Iran"

IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir announced on the 21st (local time) that the military operation against Iran has reached the halfway point of its overall timeline. In a video statement that day, Chief of Staff Zamir stated that the operation had passed its turning point and the direction forward was clear. He emphasized that they would not cease their fight for freedom and future, even during Passover, which is about a week away.

He assessed that the extensive strikes against the Iranian regime over the past three weeks are beginning to accumulate strategic, military, economic, and administrative achievements, and diagnosed that the Iranian leadership is in disarray.

Chief of Staff Zamir warned that Iran's recent launch of a two-stage intercontinental ballistic missile with a range of 4,000 km towards Diego Garcia was aimed not at Israel, but at major European cities. He also added that he had approved new combat plans against Hezbollah in Lebanon and that all threatening targets would be eliminated.
