Jeon Han-gil Leaves People Power Party, Vows to Launch Civic Group 'Korea-US Alliance Group'
YouTuber Jeon Han-gil left the People Power Party on the 5th and announced on the 7th that he would establish the civic group 'Korea-US Alliance Group'. Revealing his departure from the People Power Party on his YouTube channel, Jeon stated, "Watching the party's recent actions, I felt deep doubt about its identity as a true conservative party." He had joined the People Power Party in June of last year.
Through his YouTube channel and a statement released on April 6th, Jeon expressed his position that "a fight within the system is already hopeless." He added, "As long as allegations of election fraud are not resolved and they control the system, local elections are meaningless, and whether we form a new party or gain a few more seats, we cannot change this massive current."
Jeon announced he would found a civic group called 'Korea-US Alliance Group'. He stated, "Without active intervention from the United States, we cannot reclaim free Korea," and added, "We must stop fighting amongst ourselves and stake everything on preventing thecommunization of this country by borrowing America's strength."
