GS Chairman Huh Tae-soo Emphasizes On-site AI Application for Solving Practical Problems
GS Group Chairman Huh Tae-soo predicted that "problems will be directly solved on-site" through accelerated AI transition in industrial fields. Meeting reporters on the 10th ahead of the third AI Innovation Committee meeting held at GS Tower in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Huh emphasized the on-site application of AI, explaining that generative AI and large language models (LLM) can be learned in half a day without IT department assistance.
GS Group is promoting the resolution of AI technology gaps and mutual growth by offering its self-developed no-code AI software development platform 'MISO' and safety management AI agent 'AIR' free of charge to small and medium-sized enterprises.
Regarding security issues arising from AI transition, Chairman Huh stated, "There is no perfect solution, but we are making every effort, such as quickly identifying vulnerabilities and responding immediately."
The AI Innovation Committee added that it will continue efforts for on-site application of LLMs in response to government infrastructure support.
